Open Source Notices

The Syntax Industries website, the Identity sign-in service and My Market include software that its authors have made available under open-source licenses. We are grateful to them. The licenses require that we pass their copyright notices and license terms on to you, and we do so here.

Each component is licensed to you by its own authors under its own license, not by Syntax Industries. Nothing in those licenses changes our Terms of Use, and nothing in our Terms limits the rights an open-source license gives you in that component. Open-source components are provided by their authors "as is," as described in each license.

Each application publishes its full notices file, with every component's copyright and complete license text (and any NOTICE file it includes), from its own address. The lists below are produced from the same build as the application itself.

Where a license requires us to make a component's source code available, such as the Mozilla Public License 2.0, the source is available at the location listed for that component. We will also provide it on request, for at least three years after we last distributed that version, by email to legal@syntaxindustries.com.

Some components, such as the image library used by our servers (libvips, LGPL-3.0), run only on our own servers and are never sent to your device. They are listed for completeness.

• Typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts and licensed to us by Adobe. They are not open-source software and may not be copied from our sites.
• The Azure Maps web control is licensed by Microsoft under its own terms, reproduced in each notices file.
• Browser compatibility data is from caniuse.com by Alexis Deveria, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
• Logos and trademarks of manufacturers, agencies and certification programs belong to their owners and appear only to identify them. Their use does not mean those owners endorse us.
